CSPC was recognized as one of the Enterprises excellent in Work Safety 2009 by Bureau of Work Safety of Guangdong Province for its outstanding HSE performance in the year of 2009.

 

At the awarding ceremony on February 26, 2010, Deputy CEO Zhu Mingcai received the award on behalf of CSPC. He was also invited to share the HSE management practices of CSPC at the ceremony. What CSPC had done was highly praised by Chen Jianhui, Director of Bureau of Work Safety of Guangdong Province, he said,  "The Barrier Thinking Approach implemented by CSPC helped a lot in safety near-miss investigation and elimination, and as a result greatly improved the company's HSE performance. "
